Official mediaPlayrooms Demo: Free Download, Release Date & Player Reviews
Play the free Playrooms demo on Steam: download steps, what the demo covers, its October 2026 release, and the latest player review snapshot before you install.
A free demo of Playrooms has been available on Steam since October 12, 2026, and anyone can install it from the store page's demo section. The demo keeps the core loop: collecting scattered balls, returning them to the ball pits, and working under the light mechanic as the rooms darken. Early players have rated it positively — at the time of writing the demo page shows 73 user reviews with a 93% positive rating (Very Positive). These numbers change over time, so check the demo page for the current snapshot.
Demo, not the full game
The demo is free and separate from the full release. Its release date is not the game's launch date — the full game is still marked Coming Soon on Steam.
